ABOUT THE PROJECT

Project Blue Horizon is a strategic initiative of the Keep The Ocean Clean Initiative, focused on the prevention, reduction, and control of marine pollution across coastal communities in Nigeria. The project will be implemented in 78 selected communities across 8 states in Nigeria, with outreach extending to the Gulf of Guinea.

This project will be executed through robust community engagement, comprehensive training programs, and active stakeholder collaboration. Its core focus includes reducing plastic waste, mitigating oil pollution, and promoting sustainable environmental practices.

Project Blue Horizon stands as a recognized UN Ocean Decade Action, reinforcing our commitment to protecting and restoring the health of our oceans.
